Some little Story behind OlfaNotes

On the last day of the exhibition, evening quietly settled in. The crowds had gone, and the city seemed to exhale in relief. Streetlights flickered on one by one, casting a gentle glow across the quiet streets.

The Best Books for Students: An Essential Reading List for College

A middle-aged man and I happened to step into the same small stationery shop at almost the exact same moment. Both of us still wore our exhibitor badges, looking a little tired but carrying a trace of curiosity. I wanted a quiet corner to rest, and maybe to gather a little inspiration for myself.

Inside, the store was hushed and warm. The soft lighting fell over shelves of journals, and the air held the faint scent of paper and wood. A slow piece of music played in the background, weaving a cocoon of intimacy around the space. The man stood by a display, running his fingers gently across the covers of the notebooks, his expression a mixture of worry and longing.

He told the clerk he wanted to find a special journal for his wife. Yet no matter how many he picked up, he set them down again. They were beautiful, yes—but none of them carried the feeling he was searching for.

I found myself stepping closer, asking softly, “What kind of journal are you looking for?”

He paused, then sighed: “I want to give her something truly special, but it feels like they’re all missing that one unforgettable touch.”

I looked at him and said, almost instinctively, “Why not bring the scent of this city to her? Let her imagine the streets you walked, hear the sounds of the crowd, breathe in the air—so that each page feels like a memory you’ve lived together.”

He blinked, and then slowly, his eyes lit up. “Is there really such a journal? That would be the perfect gift for my wife.”

His smile, gentle and genuine, warmed me deeply. In that moment, every challenge and doubt I had faced in creating this brand suddenly felt worthwhile. Writing is not only about recording—it is about extending emotions, preserving memories, and creating the most delicate, human connections. No matter who we are or where we come from, we can all be moved by something sincere and beautiful.
